2. His wife Emani is a breast cancer survivor.
3. In January 2004, Turk was involved in a shootout with police officers after they entered his house with a search warrant for drugs. He shot a police officer with a 9mm handgun in self-defense. The New Orleans rapper was subsequently charged with first-degree attempted murder and served 8 years, 8 months, and 16 days in prison. He was released on October 12, 2012.
